First in a new body of work, The New England Series -The Hold-Out. This is a lathe-turned maple vessel. The interior has been airbrushed blue to resemble the autumn sky. Maple leaves - both silhouette and negative space represent ghost images of leaves already fallen.

Imagine a crisp day in late October, a single maple leaf against the cobalt blue sky. It refuses to let go.
